DAS Services

DAS Services

Corsico RF Communications offers a menu of services for DAS implementation and DAS related engineering. We can perform selected services or a complete set of services to implement a DAS of any size.

We can also be engaged to perform any of these individual items in support of an end user or larger project. We will work with the customer up-front to establish a clear scope of work to meet the customer’s objectives.

For a typical full DAS implementation, Corsico RF Communications will perform the following 4 steps. Alternately, we can provide a selected subset of these steps as required by the customer:

1. Site Survey
survey_01This critical Distributed Antenna System engineering activity will establish the strength, location, and types of incoming signals, check isolation between candiate antenna placement inside and out, record specific site constraints that drive the design of the system and its construction, understand working restrictions, pre-measure expected cable lengths, and determine how the site should be built. This is critical to achieving best cost and performance solutions. A good site survey lays the foundation for a good system.

2. System Planning, Design & Quote
audit-01We will plan a DAS using the data from the Site Survey. The design and quote will be structured to meet known and anticipated requirements to make the system compatible with the planned wireless operators’ systems. From this will flow materials lists, implementation plans, and pricing.

3. Wireless Operator Coordination
MVC-027SOnce a project is accepted, we start the coordination with the wireless operator(s) whose signals will be broadcast upon the system. It is absolutely critical to make this happen early in the project to insure compatibility at commissioning.

4. Implementation and Commissioning
Materials are ordered, received, and inventoried. Any needed subcontracted services are arranged and scheduled. Actual system implementation is supervised and managed directly by Corsico RF Communications personnel to maintain system quality. Final system commissioning is followed by system acceptance by the customer, and the job will be completed with a design report and audit, along with the level of system documentation determined at the project’s inception.
