Optical Fiber

img8For wideband and wide area signal transport, nothing can match the capability of a simple glass fiber. Signal transport is achieved by wireless to-optical signal conversion to low level optical signals. Signal amplification units are installed at the far end to re-convert to wireless and to restore the signals to correct operating levels. Signals can be transported for re-broadcast over hundreds of feet or many miles with a design-to-purpose solution. Indoor and outdoor systems are easy to install with slender fiber cables rather than older bulky transport media. With the distance capability of fiber solutions, coverage in multi-story buildings, factories, and campus settings become very practical. Our outdoor fiber and indoor fiber transport systems can be designed for single- or multiple-service operation and for almost any mix of cellular and public safety frequencies.imgE
